The Literature of the World An Intertextual Analysis on the Golden Notebook

作为莱辛的代表作之一,《金色笔记》的出版不仅巩固了莱辛在世界文坛上的地位,也引来了国内外诸多文学评论家的关注。研究者们主要从多重主题、心理学的影射、以及独特结构三个方面对小说进行解读,只有少数研究涉及该小说的“互文性”维度。尽管这些“互文性”的研究极具启发性,但是,这些研究并未对“互文性”进行系统和全面的解析。本文旨在对《金色笔记》进行系统性的互文解读。通过对该文本历时性和共时性两轴的架构,本文以历时层面上的纵轴为主线,探求文本与前文本之间的互文关系,揭示作品结构与古希腊西西弗斯神话符码,主题与双性同体原型,以及人物刻画与《尤利西斯》之间的互文关系;而在共时层面上,通过战争、骚乱、和武器竞赛的剪报凸显文本和社会历史背景的互文关系,建立起文本与文化之间的联系。这个复杂的互文网络折射出的本世纪五十年代人类社会的精神和社会风貌,展现出小说作为“一部真正意义上的世界文学”所独有的魅力。
