论文摘要
诗歌是文学形式最精练的浓缩。它用其独特的风格向读者传递思想和情感,以触动读者的感情。中国古典诗歌作为中国历史文化的浓缩,有着其独特的特点。如此丰富、美妙的诗歌应该由全世界的人民所共享。他们应该成为全世界的共同财富。但中国文字和语言的复杂性又使得中国古典诗歌很难被外人所理解和掌握。于是,翻译就成了必要的手段和媒介。显然,不同语言和文化之间存在着很大的差异,差异越大,他们之间翻译的难度就越大。而翻译中国古典诗歌更是面临着很多困难。在翻译中,没有绝对的对等,即使有了表面上的对等,在意义上也不可能做到真正的对等。因此在翻译过程中运用创造性就成了诗歌翻译,尤其是中国古典诗歌翻译的必经途径。本文以中国古典诗歌作为研究对象,首先介绍了中国古典诗歌的起源及发展,归纳了中国古典诗歌的三大特点;对于诗歌是否可译,一直是翻译界争论的问题,本文通过理论与实践说明了中国古典诗歌是可译的,并且是可以进行创造性翻译;但是创造性翻译不是没有任何原则的,它必须以忠实为前提,表现在中国古典诗歌上,即以实现理解、风格、韵律和文化再现的对等为原则(或前提),在此基础上根据中国古典诗歌的特点进行创造性地翻译;最后论文讨论了创造性的发挥有时甚至可以使译文超越原文,是其优势所在。对于新生事物,我们总是希望其有长久的发展,因此对于创造性的发展趋势本文作者也做了客观的预测。
