人名专有名词对第二语言习得语言理解的影响

总结语言是音、形、义的统一体。传统语言观认为,在语言习得的过程中,除了语法习得以外,还包括语音习得、语义习得和词汇习得。从这一分类我们不难看出词汇习得是语言习得中的一个重要组成部分。而在语言学习时人名大都被学习者和知识传授者所忽略:翻看各种词汇书籍,从英语四六级到雅思托福词汇,都无一例外的把专有名词排除在外;各类词典也只是把人名放在附录中列出。那么是不是说人名在学习一门外语时就真的不值得深入学习了吗?答案应该是否定的。随着人类文明的发展,名字已逐渐成为不同社会深厚文化内涵的载体之一,会对理解文章,甚至理解某一民族,产生深远的影响和重要的意义,在我们进行第二语言学习时,是绝对不应该被忽略的。我们必须清醒地认识到,专有名词,特别是人名在词汇习得乃至于语言习得中所占的比重是相当大的:人民教育出版社统编的最新中学语文教科书中,外国作品占五十二篇,涉及到的外国人名达到了一百个以上。英语教材中出现的外国人名更是不计其数,几乎每课都有。大学生所学习的英语教材,阅读资料以及各类考试的阅读题目涉及到的外国科学家、文学家、历史名人等也呈逐年上升的趋势。但在教学过程中,教师又是如何传授这些专有名词的呢?大多数教师尤其是外语教师,通常都只对这些人名不做任何讲解或只把其列在被正音的范畴。本文通过对外语学习者的调查问卷以及测验,从分析测试结果入手,对人名的结构、文化内涵、人名的普通化、文学作品中人名的作用以及人名互译对学生日常阅读的影响等几个方面进行了剖析,着重讨论了人名在二语习得中的不可忽视的重要作用和人名教学有待改革的现状,以期引起人们对人名和其他专有名词的研究兴趣正如我们能够在我们的文化中了解到的一样,人名能够反映了一个社会的历史、传统、文化等因素,应该在语言习得中得到足够的重视。在本文中虽然提出了并证实了人名专有名词对第二语言文献阅读产生影响,但其掌握程度和对语言理解的影响程度都是一个盲点。希望本文能引起更多学者对专有名词这一领域的注意和继续研究。
