考察语言背后的意识形态 ——对布什和胡锦涛的政治演讲的对比分析

论文摘要

政治演讲通常是演讲者代表某个阶级、团体或党派就国内外重大事件或关系而发表的演讲。以往，政治演讲的研究多单纯从传统意义上的词汇、句子或语用的层面进行分析，而本文将从考察语言背后的意识形态方面进行分析。本文以批评语言学中的分析理论和系统功能语言学中评价理论为基础，对布什和胡锦涛的演讲进行意识形态方面的分析。通过批评语言学中的及物性理论和分类理论，以及评价理论系统对这两篇演讲进行对比性的分析。其中态度系统的分析是本论文的分析重点，通过情感系统、判断系统和鉴赏系统对演说词的分析来揭示布什和胡锦涛对全球问题的不同态度，从而有力地揭示出他们的意识形态。本文论证了批评语言学中的分析理论的可行性，同时表明评价理论也是一种考察语言背后意识形态的有效工具。
