话语和社会变革——对有关在中国推广私立教育文章的分析

论文摘要

教育私有化在中国还是相对新鲜的事物,如何使人们接受这种新事物及随之带来的一系列全新理念成为课题。话语分析理论从语言学这一角度对新事物获得人们接受的过程展开探讨。本文以Fairclou曲的话语分析理论为基础,另外兼容了其他几种话语及话语分析理论,对有关在中国推广私立教育的文章展开研究。作者着重研究了此类文章获得话语稳定性的过程及条件,希望以此能够解释通过话语引入全新意识形态并进而引领社会变革的过程。全文选取了20篇有关在中国推广私立教育的文章,分析列举了其中三种语句。它们分别论述了中国私立教育对社会和教育体制的影响,对教师和学生的影响,另外还界定了中国私立教育。作者对其中的一些语法特征如情态、模糊、进行时态及预设进行详细的研究。调查结果表明,在前两种旨在推动社会变革即中国私立教育对社会和教育体制的影响及对教师和学生的影响的论述中,此类文章的作.者较频繁地使用情态、模糊、进行时态及预设等语用手段。该结果印证了本文作者此前的假设,即此类文章通常从战略上运用情态、模糊、进行时态等手段建立模糊性,而该种模糊性可以通过同时或随后出现的含有全新意识形态的预设得到解决。作者意图借此文章揭示话语与社会变革的关系,解释话语推进社会变革的具体实现手段,并希望对今后相关研究提供有益见解。
