作者王茁(2019)在《玫瑰黄腹三节叶蜂幼虫侧单眼形态和超微结构》一文中研究指出:侧单眼stemmata是全变态类幼虫特有的视觉器官,一般是由角膜晶体、视网膜细胞、色素细胞、角膜生成细胞以及晶体等结构组成。然而,全变态类不同类群幼虫的侧单眼,无论是数目还是内部结构方面,都存在着较大的差异,甚至同一种幼虫的不同侧单眼在结构方面都存在较大差异。鳞翅目Lepidoptera、鞘翅目Coleoptera、广翅目Megaloptera等幼虫侧单眼已进行了较多的研究,但仅广腰亚目Symphyta幼虫存在1对侧单眼的膜翅目Hymenoptera中研究较少,目前仅报道了筒腹叶蜂科Pergidae和叶蜂科Tenthredinidae幼虫侧单眼的结构,而三节叶蜂科Argidae幼虫侧单眼的结构迄今未见报道。本文利用光学显微镜、扫描电子显微镜和透射电子显微镜,研究了玫瑰黄腹三节叶蜂Arge pagana(Panzer,1798)(膜翅目:三节叶蜂科)幼虫侧单眼的外部形态和内部结构,并依据侧单眼结构推测其可能的功能,讨论了全变态类幼虫侧单眼的起源和进化。玫瑰黄腹三节叶蜂幼虫侧单眼主要是由角膜晶体、视网膜细胞、色素细胞和角膜生成细胞等结构组成,无晶体。该角膜晶体透明且强烈双凸,表面具有许多浅浅的凹陷;角膜晶体外缘被一个黑色圆环包围,该圆环的后缘有缺刻。角膜生成细胞位于角膜晶体的下方,其远端部分包含了大量囊泡并且形成一个相对电子透明的区域,其近端部分延伸至基膜附近。视网膜细胞位于透明区域的下方。该侧单眼包含了大约1000个视网膜细胞,其中相邻的8个或9个视网膜细胞聚成一簇,一共形成大约100个视杆。由8个视网膜细胞形成的视杆和由9个视网膜细胞形成的视杆位于2个不同区域,区域I和区域II。区域I位于侧单眼的中央占大多数面积,视杆由8个视网膜细胞形成。区域II位于侧单眼的后缘呈条带分布,视杆由9个视网膜细胞形成。在该侧单眼的最后缘,即区域II的外侧,分布着色素细胞束;这些色素细胞束从角膜生成细胞的远端部延伸至视网膜细胞的近端部。由于玫瑰黄腹三节叶蜂幼虫侧单眼的后缘存在少量由9个视网膜细胞形成的视杆,这些视杆的视小杆大致垂直排列,由此推测玫瑰黄腹三节叶蜂幼虫侧单眼可能对偏振光具有敏感性。玫瑰黄腹三节叶蜂幼虫侧单眼与筒腹叶蜂科幼虫侧单眼结构相似,都是由角膜晶体、角膜生成细胞和视网膜细胞组成,无晶体。其中,筒腹叶蜂科幼虫侧单眼被认为起源进化于多个小眼角膜的融合和晶体的退化,但其视杆仍由8个视网膜细胞形成保持原始状态。本研究发现,玫瑰黄腹三节叶蜂幼虫侧单眼内的视杆由8或9个视网膜细胞形成;由8个视网膜细胞形成的视杆位于中央,占大多数,由9个视网膜细胞形成的视杆位于后缘,占少数,因此推测玫瑰黄腹三节叶蜂幼虫侧单眼可能进化起源于两种类型的小眼融合。
