A Probe into Tourism Translation under the Guidance of the Multi-Complementary Principle

中国是个旅游大国,其悠久的历史文明和旖旎的自然风光吸引着越来越多的海内外游客。中国的地大物博,自然、人文、历史景观都令游人叹为观止。随着各国、各民族之间跨文化活动日益频繁,跨国旅游既成为经济创收的一个重要产业,同时也是跨文化交际的重要部分。为了更多地向世界人民宣传中国文化,跨国旅游肩负着媒介作用。而要发展跨国旅游,旅游翻译就必不可少。旅游翻译是一种跨文化翻译,是一种跨文化交流,。旅游翻译是将本国文化介绍给异国读者的过程,且这些读者是潜在的跨国旅游者。在世界经济如此日新月异的今天,旅游产业为我国经济创收的贡献已有目共睹。而旅游翻译作为旅游产业发展的重要因素,虽然不如其他翻译领域研究的多,但也越来越受到旅游界、翻译界及旅游爱好者的重视。旅游翻译作为一种应用翻译,翻译对象涉及到广告文体、文学表达、诗歌、文化意象等等,内容涉及到诸如社会、经济、政治、教育、宗教等各方面,这样包罗万象的涵盖面就决定了旅游翻译的难度性。本文在对旅游翻译文本的文本特征、文本内容、文本功能、读者对象、审美情趣等方面进行分析的基础上,运用“翻译标准多元互补论”对旅游翻译进行探讨。翻译界对各个翻译标准的争论已久,但最终无法找到一条绝对实用的翻译标准。在面对多样翻译对象时,翻译标准也应该是多元化的。旅游翻译,正如上面所说,其翻译对象及读者对象的多样性都决定应该用多元化的翻译标准来衡量。有了这个前提,我们就知道具体的旅游翻译要运用不同的翻译理论和翻译策略。本文分为五个部分:简介中简要介绍了写作本文的动机、目的、意义、方法以及本文的组成部分。
