英语新闻语篇中转述引语的互文性研究

论文摘要

本文以语篇分析的互文性理论和批评性语篇分析的相关理论为理论基础,以五篇美国《纽约时报》和五篇英国《卫报》中,对“墨西哥湾漏油事故”的相关报道为实例,对英语新闻语篇中转述引语的消息来源、转述类型和转述动词的使用进行了互文性研究。通过对比和互文性定位分析,得出以下结论：在新闻语篇中,转述引语体现了较强的互文性；报道者可以利用转述引语对新闻语篇进行意识形态操控；报道者对新闻语篇的意识形态操控越强,新闻语篇中转述引语所体现的互文性越弱。因此,在阅读新闻语篇时,读者应当采取适当的批评态度,对新闻语篇背后隐藏的意识形态意义予以关注,从而能够更客观、全面地了解新闻事件,而不会受到其它因素的干扰和影响。
