高中生英语学习动机以及英语教师对英语学习动机影响的个案研究

论文摘要

本文主要探讨高中生英语学习动机的发展特点,性别差异以及学生知觉到的英语教师教学行为对他们英语学习动机的影响。本研究对295名普通重点高中生进行抽样问卷调查,并通过对收集到的数据进行数据统计分析,得出了以下结论:(1)该校高中生的英语学习动机是一个包括无动机、外部调节动机、投射调节动机、认同调节动机和内在动机在内的连续体。(2)该校高中生的内在动机和外部调节动机存在显著年级差异。具体表现为:高一到高二内在动机降低,高三的内在动机却略有提升;外部调节动机随年级增长而逐渐升高。(3)该校高中生英语学习动机存在性别差异。男生的无动机和外部调节动机高于女生,女生的内在动机和认同调节动机高于男生。(4)该校学生知觉到的英语教师教学行为和英语学习动机有显著相关。知觉到的教师自主性支持和信息反馈对学生的内在动机和认同调节动机有正向作用。知觉到的教师控制性行为与学生的外部调节动机和投射调节动机有正相关,但对学生的内在动机和认同调节动机没有影响。这个结果有别于西方类似研究的结果。
