反讽是一种经常出现在文学体裁和日常生活中的语言现象,近些年来受到越来越多的语言学家和心理学家的关注。它不仅仅是一种传统意义上的修辞手段,而且是一种交际策略。Sperber&Wilson的关联理论框架下的反讽回应理论以及Clark&Gerrig的伪装论把语用学、认知学和心理学等理论综合在一起,为反讽现象的研究提供了新思路和新方法。但上述理论仍存在不足之处。本文主要从语用认知的角度对交际中的反讽进行了研究,认为,反讽不仅是一个语言问题,也是人的思维问题。论文尝试从语用认知的视角阐释反讽理解的过程尤其是反讽的认知过程。在以往反讽理论的基础上,本文提出了一个全新的假设,即认为反讽是一种逆期待性不匹配。除了前言和结论两部分之外,本文共分为五章。第一章和第二章是对反讽的介绍。第一章介绍反讽的方方面面,而第二章为文献综述,评述以往对反讽研究的状况及理论。第三章讨论理解反讽的总体认知环境,包括对反讽特征的认识以及对共性因素在认知反讽中的地位的认识。第四章探讨了反讽的认知标准,提出了三种假说。第五章对反讽认知过程作全景透视,主要讨论了支配整个反讽认知过程的认知总原则、反讽隐含的认知、反讽性态度及印象的理解。本文通过对反讽的语用认知研究,揭示了反讽认知过程是一个双向交叉多维度的推理过程,同时也是一个以共性因素作为反讽认知前提条件的衍生过程,并以关联理论作为其认知原则。对反讽的语用认知研究丰富了原有的理论基础,而且使人们对反讽认知过程有了一个更为清晰的认识轮廓,对认知语用学的研究具有重要的促进作用。
