书写自我 ——对《接骨师之女》中露丝身份的后殖民解读

论文摘要

谭恩美是著名的华裔女作家之一,其代表作之一《接骨师之女》获得了普通读者和文学批评界的广泛关注和好评。评论家已从多种角度对这部作品进行了解读,如沉默主题、母女关系、文化差异等。以《接骨师之女》为文本,本论文旨在分五章从后殖民角度分析解读小说女主人公露丝的身份问题。第一章,简要介绍作家、作品、后殖民主义理论及文献综述。第二章,论述露丝所面临的矛盾身份:在美国处于他者地位,在男友面前很被动,而且不能认同自己的中国属性,与母亲之间矛盾重重。第三章,分析穿梭于中国与美国、过去与现在之间的露丝如何在现实中追寻并超越过去,从民族身份、文化身份、女性身份三个方面寻找自我,构建身份。第四章,阐述构建身份后的露丝所达到的和谐以及在第三空间内创造的新自我—书写自我。第五章,对论文进行了总结。
