图形对语法教学的影响

论文摘要

语法是英语中的重要组成部分,语法教学在今天的英语教学中发挥着举足轻重的作用。本课题研究的目的就是检验假设:图形能够深刻影响英语语法教学和学习。笔者尝试利用图形来教授语法的新方法,于是乎,大批关于语法知识点的图形应运而生。一个高二年级理科班被当作实验组,另一个高二年级理科班被当作对照组。只有实验组接受利用图形来教授语法这一新方法,而对照组不会接触到这一方法。在利用新方法教授语法之前,笔者举行了一个前测,目的是为了测验两个班是否拥有同样的英语水平。在用不同方法教授了同一语法内容之后,笔者举行了一个后测,目的是为了测验这种新方法是否发挥了关键作用。数据分析的结果表明新方法真的给实验组的同学带来了显著变化。在访谈中,实验组的绝大多数同学也都认为这一方法真的是一个非常有趣有效的新方法。笔者还总结了利用图形教授语法的理论和实践意义,指出了这一实验的局限性,并提及了将来的研究方向和建议。
