科技英语中的语篇隐喻研究

在功能语言学中语法隐喻的研究是非常重要的一个部分。韩礼德提出语法隐喻归为两类:概念隐喻和人际隐喻。在韩礼德的研究基础上,马丁提出语篇隐喻也应归到语法隐喻的研究范围内,并建立了相关的理论框架,把语篇隐喻分为5类:元信息,语篇照应、内部连接、协商结构和隐喻性主位。但是很多的学者,包括韩礼德都对语篇隐喻这个概念持保留意见。正是由于对语篇隐喻存在争论,这个理论需要被不断的验证和完善。因此本文试图研究科技英语中的语篇隐喻,这个研究会在两个方面体现它的意义:1)探索语篇隐喻是如何在建构科技英语语篇中起作用的;2)根据研究来验证语篇隐喻的存在依据。本论文共分为5个部分。第一章简要介绍了研究问题、理据、方法和论文篇章安排。第二章回顾了隐喻的发展和韩礼德语法隐喻的重要理论。第三章是这篇论文的理论基础,在对马丁和范文芳的理论研究基础之上,建构研究科技英语中的语篇隐喻的理论框架。第四章主要对语篇隐喻在科技英语中的功能进行分析和讨论。第五章是对全文的贡献、局限性和进一步的研究方向的总结。语篇隐喻在隐喻研究中是比较新的一个领域,特别是科技英语中的语篇隐喻研究还并没有引起太多的注意。研究的事实证明,语篇隐喻在科技英语中确实存在,并且在建构语篇中起到了非常重大的作用。这个研究为科技英语的研究提供了一个新的视角和框架。
