人们之间的商务沟通随着经济全球化的进程更加频繁。商务英语是全球商务沟通的工作语言,它在业内已经引起了人们的重视。在商务活动往来中,信息的有效交换与文化因素关系紧密。从跨文化交际的视角来看,在信息本身之外,人们对于传达信息的反应还由信息传递者与接受者所处的文化所决定。文化对信息的传递有影响,因此也影响语言间的翻译。本文主要的研究内容是商务语篇翻译中文化信息的转换。针对商务语篇中出现的涉及文化信息转换的段落以及句子的表达,运用信息理论进行分析讨论。本文旨在从信息理论的视角研究商务语篇翻译中的文化信息转换,通过对文化信息转换的过程及方法的研究,尝试性提出一些商务语篇中文化信息转换的方法,以提高商务语篇翻译的质量。本文采用定性与定量分析的研究方法。一方面作者通过阅读商务语篇,进行了相关的资料搜集;另一方面,作者通过广泛涉猎有关商务语篇的文章、期刊,进行了充分的个案分析。通过以跨文化交际理论为指导的研究分析,本文结论指出译者翻译商务语篇时应当树立跨文化意识,文化是影响商务语篇翻译质量的重要因素,应得到充分重视;此外,本文也揭示了由于文化差异而造成商务英语翻译信息丢失、扭曲的现象,强化了翻译中信息转换研究的重要地位。但是由于从文化信息转换视角研究商务语篇的资料不够充分,作者在研究过程中还有不足,作者期待本文能指导商务语篇的翻译实践,从而不断提高商务语篇翻译的质量。
