从目的论角度看《政府工作报告》的中译英

论文摘要

《政府工作报告》是国际社会了解中国的权威信息来源。随着中国国际地位的提升,《政府工作报告》也日益受到世界各国的关注。因此,对于《政府工作报告》翻译的研究很有必要。本文将目的论运用到翻译实践中并以“充分性”为翻译评估的标准,对《政府工作报告》的中译英进行了系统的分析。论文指出,《政府工作报告》中译英的目的是“沟通”。为了实现翻译目的,本文提出《政府工作报告》中译英的四条翻译原则:内容准确、语言地道、语体正式、标准翻译与创新。结合《2011年政府工作报告》的翻译实例,本文分别从词汇、句法、文本和文化层面探索可以使用的翻译技巧。
