现代英语关联副词研究

论文摘要

副词是英语词汇中的一大类。副词的使用对中国学生却是一个难题,而如何正确运用关联副词就更是十分困难。关联副词是在句子和篇章中起关联作用的副词。迄今为止,关于副词的探讨比较广泛。然而,国内外对于关联副词的系统研究却十分少见,更不要说进行深入的总结。本文在综合理论概念,研究方法和大量的语料分析的基础上,以现代英语中关联副词的书面语为研究对象,从句法,语义的角度确定了关联副词的范围,并分别从句法,语义和语篇三个层面展开研究,重点探讨关联副词的句法特征,语义关系和指向以及关联副词的语篇功能。首先,从句法角度,本文探讨了关联副词在句子中担任的句法角色,并概括了其句子中的位置;其次,通过大量的语料分析,分别从语义和语义指向的角度对统计的关联副词按照意义的差别进行分类;此外,论文阐释了关联副词的语篇功能,并从主位和述位的角度探讨关联副词的用法。为了对关联副词有更加深刻和具体的认识,本文以具有代表性的关联副词为例,分别从句法,语义和语篇三个层面进行具体细致的分析。本文的分析阐述,旨在引起人们从宏观角度加深对关联副词的掌握和理解,并通过对英语关联副词特点和规则的总结为英语教学和语法学习等提供一点参考。
