Translator’s Subjectivity Seen from the Perspective of Skopostheorie ——A Case Study of the C-e Translation of Tour Guide Commentary

随着中国旅游业的蓬勃发展,大批西方游客涌入中国,希望近距离的了解中国文化。英文导游作为中西方交流的主要桥梁,在服务西方游客,推广中国文化的过程中起到了重要作用,英文导游词作为英语导游讲解过程中的主要依据在导游过程中起着至关重用的作用。然而由于中西方在历史背景、地理环境、社会习俗、宗教信仰以及价值观念等方面的不同,给导游词汉译英带来了极大的困难;同时以什么原则来指导导游词汉译英也一直困扰着广大翻译工作者。本文以功能派翻译理论中的目的论为指导探索导游词汉译英的策略。首先,介绍目的论的理论基础,简述它的发展,基本概念及其意义;介绍了译者主体性的概念及特点;并对旅游翻译的一些特点进行了分析。然后在分析和探讨的基础上用大量翔实的实例证明目的论可以用来指导英文导游词翻译。最后,作者以目的论为依据,提出英文导游词翻译中可以采用的一些策略。本文论证了导游词汉译英是一种具有目的性、人际性的跨文化交际活动。目的论可应用于导游词汉译英的实践活动中。导游词汉译英的策略是由导游讲解的目的决定的。本文总结了导游词汉译英中可以应用的一些策略并强调译者应灵活运用翻译策略。
