结束对话 ——中英文对话结束语研究

论文摘要

近年来,随着现代化大众文化的普及,人们越来越多地接触到各类电影电视作品。其中,电视剧领域的“肥皂剧”成为了广受欢迎的一种电视艺术形式,拥有数量惊人的观众群。“肥皂剧”一般以讲述轻松的生活故事,表现逼真的生活情景以及运用独特的喜剧效果来吸引大众。而在该类剧集的艺术表达形式上,以人物之间大量生活化的对白为主,这些对白真实地反映了拍摄背景下的地方文化和语言特点。从语言学的角度出发,尤其是对话分析领域,“肥皂剧”忠实地体现了日常对话的一些显著特点,并且反映了语用学领域的一些原则在现实中的应用,如言语行为策略。在过去的十几年中,基于流行影视作品的语言学研究很好地证实了该类研究的可行性。本文认为中英文对话在对话结束语策略的运用上存在一致性,同时在具体的应用方法以及策略的侧重方面存在一定差异。本文语料选自两部广受欢迎的“肥皂剧”,英文的《老友记》以及中文的《家有儿女》,并从两部剧集的台词中选取了各50多段包含结束与的对话进行研究,具体研究在上世纪七十年代起的萨克斯、谢格洛夫等语言学家的相关理论框架下展开。由于通过研究,发现了中英文对话结束语方面各自的倾向性,本文还就中英文对话结束语策略使用的一致性及区别展开了讨论。本文旨在通过一些研究和对比,突出对话结束语策略应用的现实意义。同时,希望通过对这一对话分析领域的具体探索,进一步体现跨语言对话策略研究在跨文化交流过程中的实际意义,从而对跨文化交流研究产生一定帮助。
