目的论在翻译中的实践价值 ——对比分析《骆驼祥子》的两个英译本

论文摘要

目的论是德国功能翻译理论学派的核心理论,主张翻译目的决定整个翻译过程。它提倡“合适”为翻译标准,并提出了三个准则即:目的准则,语内一致和语际一致,以及忠实的翻译原则。本文是通过对比分析《骆驼祥子》的两种英文译本,验证目的论在翻译过程中的实践价值。本文选取了《骆驼祥子》的两种英文译本中能够体现两位译者翻译目的和策略差异的例子进行比较,并运用目的论的三个准则和一个标准评估和分析例句的翻译效果。通过对比分析,本文发现目的论在翻译过程中确实有十分重要的实践价值。因此,我们在翻译实践和研究中可以以目的论为指导,灵活运用不同策略,以取得更好的翻译效果。
