自我认识与人物刻画 ——詹姆士·乔伊斯心灵成长与《尤利西斯》中布鲁姆关系之研究

论文摘要

本论文对《尤利西斯》中布鲁姆的人物塑造和乔伊斯的心灵成长的关系作分析和研究。主要借用C.H.Peake的精神视角(Moral Vision)理论,从作家成长角度来解读布鲁姆的人物塑造和作家心灵成长的关系。《尤利西斯》中对布鲁姆人物成功塑造对乔伊斯个人成长具有标志性意义。在塑造布鲁姆这一人物上,乔伊斯分别在精神视角(Moral Vision)的深度(Degree)、范围(Range)和一致性(Coherence)上达到了艺术上的新高度。通过塑造布鲁姆,乔伊斯也在对自我的家庭生活和艺术道路以及自身心路历程的总结与审视。在艺术创作同时,艺术家也在艺术中得到了新的认识和前进的动力。在分析乔伊斯成功塑造布鲁姆的基础上,对促使乔伊斯的心灵成长起积极作用的主要因素也进行了分析,从而得以更深入的了解布鲁姆人物塑造与乔伊斯心灵成长关系。
