非英语专业研究生口语策略调查研究

论文摘要

对学习者策略的研究是近年来二语习得领域和教学法领域比较受人们关注的话题。从上个世纪70年代中期开始,从最初的语言善学者的策略研究到最新的语言学习策略培训,研究者们做了很多理论研究和实证研究尽管对学习者策略的定义,分类还存在很大的的分歧,但大量研究表明学习者对策略的选择和使用与语言学习成绩存在很大的相关性。对学习者策略进行研究的根本目的就是通过了解学习者为了掌握所学的语言知识或解决学习过程中所遇到的问题而采取的策略,让外语教师了解影响学习者外语成绩的策略因素,继而对学习者进行策略培训,改善和促进外语教学。中国近年来对外语学习者策略的研究发展迅速。但是对非英语专业的研究生还很少涉及,尤其是针对其口语的研究更是少之又少。研究生作为一个具备高科技知识的群体,将来担负国家科学研究的重任.随着国际交流的进一步深入,他们必将成为对外科技交流的抵住.但是他们的口语状况仍然令人堪忧。该文作者基于此现实,对中国石油大学的研究生进行了问卷调查和跟踪访问。调查涉及十九个班的319名理科生.基于问卷调查的结果和跟踪访问的成果,从319名学生中挑选出34名口语相对好的学习者。根据专家们对学习者策略的分类和Oxford的语言学习策略调查表,作者将收集来的信息进行统计分析。将口语好的学习者的策略使用情况和其余平均的策略使用情况相比,得出以下结论:口语好的学习者总体上较多的使用策略;口语好的学习者更多的使用学习策略,口语一般的学习者倾向于使用交际策略;而产出策略的使用两个群体没有很大的差异针。对这一发现,作者提出对口语教学和口语学习的指导意义。
