激发初中生英语学习动机对打造主体参与式课堂的作用

在大力呼唤回归教育本位的今天,我们把太多的期望和关注都投给了课堂,因为课堂是开发学生智力潜能,培养综合能力,提高学习成绩的主要阵地.教育工作者希望看到高质量的教育产出,学生们希望得到浓缩的知识精华和快乐的成功体验,家长们则期待着看到健康快乐,学有所成的孩子。近年来,更多的目光聚焦于主体参与式课堂。即教师采用各种教学措施,调动学生的积极性、主动性和创造性,使全体学生积极主动有效地参与到教学过程中来的课堂形式。参与式学习体现了,定位了一种新型的学习方式,从传统教学转变为让学生通过多种形式的参与。但是在现实教学中,有太多的学生由于种种原因,不愿或不能参与到教学活动中,应此,本文想着力探讨的问题是如何激发学生的学习动机,使学生积极有效地参与到课堂教学活动中来,以及激发学生动机对打造主体参与式课堂的作用,从而达到教与学的共赢。本研究采用准实验法,以大连市第四中学两个自然班为实验对象,其中一个为实验班,一个为控制班。实验班的同学接受了一学期的学习动机的激发训练。实验活动包括:引进情感激励机制,营造和谐的课堂氛围;采用形成性评价实施物质激励机制;精心设计教学,实施分层施教等。而控制班的同学只接受正常的英语课教学。该研究旨在探讨以下两个问题1)激发学生的学习动机是否能有利于学生的主体参与?2)主体参与式教学的实施和课堂的创建能否明显促进学生学习成绩的提高?实验以问卷调查及能力测试形式在实验前后分别对受试者的参与课堂的动机和语言水平进行测试,使用SPSS13.0统计软件进行了描述性统计分析,相关分析及独立样本T检验分析。数据分析结果表明:1)激发学生的学习动机有利于学生的主体参与2)主体参与式教学的实施和课堂的创建对能促进学生学习成绩的提高。最后,文章还探讨该研究对英语教学的启示意义和其局限性,并对日后研究提出了些建议。
