论文摘要
随着中国旅游业的蓬勃发展,中国已成为一个广受欢迎的旅游目的地,这就对中文旅游文本的翻译产生了巨大需求。因此,对旅游文本翻译中的主要难点——文化负载词的翻译进行研究具有重大的意义。然而,其英译现状却不容乐观,问题比比皆是,既损害了中国的国际形象,又阻碍了旅游业的进一步发展。因此,如何提高旅游资料的英译质量已经成为一个急需解决的重要问题。本文主要从目的论的视角探讨中文旅游文本中文化负载词的英译,介绍了旅游资料的种类和内容,研究了其文本功能和语言特色。本文接着探讨了其中文化负载词的定义、分类以及对其研究的意义。作为宣传资料,旅游资料的最终目的是为了吸引更多的游客来华旅游。其英译也要服务于这个目的。因此,在翻译旅游文本中的文化负载词时,译者必须以目的论为指导,采用正确的翻译策略和方法,以期提高其翻译质量。文章得出的结论是:目的论可作为衡量中文旅游文本中文化负载词翻译的质量标准。掌握好目的论,精通主要的翻译方法,透彻了解文化负载词的主要特点,对于保证旅游文本翻译的优异质量大有裨益。作者衷心希望该研究能对旅游文本翻译工作者有所启迪,为我国旅游文本翻译质量的不断提高做出贡献。
