英汉名词动化特征及其形成机制的比较研究

名词动化现象无处不在,报纸上、文学作品中,还有人们的日常生活中都可以遇到。许多国内外学者都关注于此语言现象。该文旨在将英汉中的名词动化现象进行对比研究,主要从其特征和认知机制两个方面来探讨此语言现象。该文对名词动化现象给予阐述举例,回顾国内外学者对此的研究,将英汉名词动化进行多维对比,最后得出结论。此外,该文在前面学者研究的基础上为该对比设计和归纳了新的名词动化的分类。研究发现,英汉名词动化在生成机制上有很大的相似性。首先,英汉的名词动化在特征比较上有相同、类似及其不同之分,有类似的使用特征,有完全一致的语用效果；其次,英语和汉语的名词动化离不开隐喻和转喻机制；而且,尽管在特征分析方面对其有不同的分类,但研究发现,英语和汉语中的名词动化认知机制基本一致；再者,在数据收集和分析的过程中,发现英语和汉语中的名词动化词类分布存在差异；最后,转喻和隐喻互为一体,在名词动化的认知理解过程中相互作用,仅仅涉及转喻机制的名词动化是存在的,但仅仅涉及隐喻机制的名词动化是不存在的,必须同时依赖转喻机制。英汉名词动化机制的研究同样也对文化交际、语言习得、翻译等其他领域以一定的启发。
