英汉学习型词典词汇扩建策略研究 ——心理语言学角度

本文主要从心理语言学角度来改进英汉学习型词典的词汇扩建策略,以达到帮助中国的英语学习者扩大词汇量的目的。词汇对于语言学习尤为重要。没有词汇,就不可能有语言。词汇量不足是外语学习者在进行复杂学习活动中常见的阻碍。但是,目前为止,大多数外语教学方法,特别是词汇学习方法,一直是以外在因素为重心,而不是以词汇扩建的根本因素——心理词库为重心。令人欣慰的是,产生于上世纪中叶的心理语言学开始探索语言与大脑内部机制的关系。从上世纪七十年代开始二语习得也倍受重视。作为语言学习最权威的工具,学习型词典应利用这些领域最新的研究成果去帮助学习者扩大词汇量。以从心理语言学角度分析五大英语学习型词典词汇扩建策略为基础,本研究提出了针对英汉学习词典词汇扩建策略信息处理的一些建议。首先,本文介绍了词汇学习的策略研究,结合有关心理词库的模型,选出三类策略做为后两章的基础。然后从心理语言学角度,采用定性分析的方法,分析了五大英语学习型词典和两部英汉学习型词典对于该三类策略的应用。在此基础上,同时仍以策略为基础,本文提出了对英汉学习词典处理词汇扩建信息的建议。最后,文章对本研究进行了总结,并提出了一些本研究的局限性以及对未来研究的建议。
