PPT演讲口译:视觉辅助还是视觉干扰?

口译是一项多任务、高强度、需要译员不断做出决策和解决问题的活动,故而对译员的认知能力有很高的要求。PPT口译员与其他口译员相比,除了要听记译外,还需要看幻灯片,面对多媒体的环境。因此,PPT幻灯片的存在使得译员的认知过程更加复杂化。本文试图分析幻灯片演讲对译员在听力、记忆和产出方面的影响。论文除引言和结语外包括五章。第一章通过分析口译的认知特点,提出口译是一个高要求的认知过程,并简要回顾了PowerPoint的历史。第二章介绍Gile的认知负荷模型,并在此框架内分析PPT幻灯片对译员在听力、记忆和产出方面的帮助。第三章主要分析PPT幻灯片对译员另一方面的影响,即对译员的干扰。第四章通过一个实证,证明PPT幻灯片对译员有辅助和干扰的双重性,突出译前准备和应对策略的重要性。第五章提出建议,旨在帮助幻灯片口译员充分利用幻灯片,减少幻灯片的干扰。包括译前准备和应对策略以应对演讲人演讲语速过快、幻灯片演示快速多变和图表多媒体演示中出现的问题。
