美籍教师与中国学生之间的文化冲突及解决方法

随着越来越多的美籍教师在中国从事教学活动,美籍教师与中国学生之间的文化冲突也越来越多。而且,大家都知道,语言是文化的载体,文化学习是语言学习过程中的一个不可分割的部分。所以学习一门语言也就是学习一种文化。所以对于英语教师而言,教英语不单纯是教会学生语言本身,而还要教其相应的文化知识。本文首先介绍了一些关于文化、交流、文化相对论的基本理论知识。然后分析了导致文化冲突的原因,并借助问卷及访谈中的例子从三个角度比较了中美文化不同的文化取向。最后作者提出教师教授文化知识和学生提高跨文化意识的建议和方法。
